5. Pimple on gums. You keep getting pimples on your gums.
Re-Treatment Over Time
Re-treatment might be necessary over time, especially in cases where the inner material sealing has broken down. This results in bacteria buildup in the cavity. One way to resolve that is through retreatment, where the gum tissue is opened through surgery, allowing for the removal of the infected tissue. After that, a filling may be left in place before the canal is sealed.
