Commemorating the Lives Affected With Holocaust Memorial Days in Las Vegas

by | Aug 21, 2020 | Education

The Holocaust in Germany was by far the greatest tragic period in world history, a living nightmare that some holocaust survivors are still haunted by. Though there have been countless numbers of books, articles, movies, documentaries, and other forms of media that try to capture the horror of what so many unfortunate human beings had to endure, there surely is no means to adequately tell the story of horror and suffering so many people felt.

Holocaust Memorial Days are days that commemorate those poor people that so brutally suffered at the hands of the evil Nazi empire. Memories are shared; tears are shed; family and friends get together and reflect on what was such an unbelievable, non-human series of brutal acts. Commemoration now focuses on contemporary efforts to battle antisemitism and hatred.

There are some groups that recognize the need to spread awareness about this dark time in human history. To never forget the tragedies that occurred and the sickness of the group behind it all. People that want to learn more about the Holocaust and the tragedy behind it can find resources online, as well as outreach and educational programs. It is sincerely hoped that further education in such tragic events and times will help our current and future generations learn from all this, to help reinforce what tolerance we now have of other human beings.
