Did your Crush and Run Run away? Stop the Insanity With Paving in Columbus Today

by | Sep 6, 2013 | Construction and Maintenance

It’s hard for a man without a paved driveway to face his family sometimes in the evening when he comes home.

Take his son, for instance. There isn’t much in this world sadder than a little boy with a desire to be an athlete … and no paved driveway. What a sad state of affairs. Here is a child who could potentially be the next Michael Jackson, but he has no basketball hoop because he has no pavement upon which to bounce his ball. He also, sadly, cannot roller skate, ride his bike, skate board, use his scooter, play hop scotch, draw with chalk, race cars and probably probably faces another dozen deprivations as well, all for the want of a smooth surface upon which to bounce, roll, slide, etc.

Then there is his daughter. She, too, wants to ride her bicycle and skate. She also wants to keep her pretty little ballerina flats clean and that’s hard to do when the driveway is sometimes dusty and sometimes muddy. She wishes her driveway was paved like that of her friends. Surely a smooth surface is the best place for her to drive her Barbie car while playing grown-up!

And then there are your wife’s considerations regarding paving in Columbus. She doesn’t desire to do all of the things her children do … she actually desires less. Less dirt, that is. Less gunk and mud being tracked inside by her children and their friends on a daily basis. Fewer muddy paw prints from the family dog. Less of the pollen that clings to everyone’s shoes as they walk to the door during allergy season. Less dust. Yes, indeed. Mama is sooo done with dirt.

Last of all, consider yourself. Surely by now you realize that the load of crush and run that originally marked your driveway has all but disappeared into the dirt. Deep down, you know you’d like, just once, to spend a Saturday afternoon washing and waxing your truck and not have it covered with a film of dust by the time you pull out onto the road. Your desires matter, too.

So go for pavement! Join the white bread world! It’s one decision you will never, ever regret!
